Day 1: Depart USA
Travel via Air France from your US departure point to Athens, Greece.
Day 2: Arrive Athens
Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 3: Athens
Morning half day city tour in Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides take you to see the center of the city, Contitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National Library. Driving down Herod Atticus street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you will see Hadrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally, the Parthenon. You complete the visit with the Museum of Acropolis.

Day 4: Athens to Olympia
Depart Athens via the coastal road to the Corinth Canal and have a short stop. Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short stop) drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the Towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia

Day 5: Olympia to Delphi
Visit the Sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus in the morning and then continue with a drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, through Patras, the Capital of the Peloponnese. Take the car ferry across the “Little Dardanelles” from Rio to Antirio, crossing the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea to arrive in Delphi.

Day 6: Delphi to Kalambaka
In the morning we will make a visit to Castalia Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the museum. On our way to our overnight destination, Kalambaka, we will drive through numerous picturesque villages and typical towns of Central Greece.

Day 7: Kalambaka to Athens
Travel to the most visited site in Greece, Meteora. The striking rock formations and the monasteries that are perched atop them make for a beautiful sight. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae, where we will make a visit to Leonida’s Monument, and Kamena Vourla. Arrive in Athens in the early evening.

It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 30-day advance purchase. Purchases within 30 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Up to $35 each way weekend surcharge applies for travel on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges of $160 including the Sept. 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment will be applied. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to the invoice. Package price includes mandated airline fuel surcharges. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm.
